Val di Daone: the kingdom of sport fishing

Just a short drive from the hotel, Val di Daone is considered one of the most beautiful valleys in Trentino for fishing. The Daone torrent flows through the valley with its clear, cold waters — ideal for marble trout and brown trout.

Along the valley you'll also find alpine lakes — mirrors of water surrounded by conifer forests and rocky walls, where fishing becomes an almost meditative experience. Among the most stunning:

• Lake Bòsca — reachable via a short hike, with transparent waters and breathtaking views
• Lake Campo — the largest natural lake in Trentino, surrounded by pastures and mountain huts
• Lake Malga Bissina — an impressive reservoir at the foot of the Adamello massif

When to come fishing

The fishing season in Trentino generally runs from February to October, with the summer months offering the best conditions. From June to September the days are long, temperatures pleasant and water levels perfect.

Permits and useful information
